Ooops, not so fast!

I'd say we have the fastest hotel search engine on earth. Really. Go give it a try eg. on liligo.uk. Csaba did a great work on it and we have a blazingly fast processing and display model on the market.

Well done lad.

Why UK? - that's not our main site... but you know, I'm overly pessimistic everything Liligo related, but maybe it's just me. One man (or a well organized team) with a clearly defined goal can make wonders. Csaba did a marvellous job here, because he was on his own, but when it comes to organizing things or requesting backend resources we fail miserably.

Also note that the rewrite itself was his idea, management and marketing does not care about code quality and maintainability: they turn a blind eye to anything that will grant their desires, even if it will result in an overly complicated code or horrid workarounds. Should we understand this the need for a complete rewrite would not be raised so often.

Why UK? 'Cos I'm a UK fanboy :)

There is no one man task me think. You need tools, other people and services to succeed. Csaba did a great job but it was a dangerous project as we discussed.

I'd like to see small temporary teams at liligo creating, maintaining, freezing, updating etc. projects - even small ones.

I'd like to see productivity tools that fit to our workflow.
