I left 'em. Spokeo is a contact/friend lifestream tracking system (my personal definition) where you can see your friends updates on eg. FaceBook, Flickr, YouTube etc. It is amazing.
I think there was a misplaced and badly designed UI where the contact import happened. It said "here you can get in touch with your X contacts" (X was Gmail for me) - or something like this. After the contact import the system suggested me that I can get in touch with my friends from X (Gmail) inside Spokeo.
You know what? I spammed my contacts with Spokeo invitations. Hundreds. Shame, that was. My bad I know. It is a great web application - that I can not fit into.
